Our lovely Nick died peacefully at home on 23rd March 2020. He was with his wife, his three daughters and his two dogs.
We weren’t ready to lose him, and we will miss him immensely.
Nick was warm, funny, generous and deeply loved. He had a way of making people feel at ease, and of making ordinary moments feel more memorable. He cared fiercely about his family and took huge pride in the life they had built together.
He loved good food, long walks, music, conversation and being surrounded by the people - and animals - he loved most. He was happiest at home, with everyone nearby, usually with a dog not far from his feet.
There are so many things we will miss: his humour, his stories, his kindness, his familiar routines, and simply the feeling of him being there.
We feel incredibly lucky to have had him in our lives. He will always be part of our family, and he will be remembered with enormous love.

Everyone who knew and loved Nick is very welcome to join us as we come together to remember him and say goodbye.

After the funeral, we’ll be gathering at Pembroke Lodge in Richmond Park — one of Nick’s favourite places — to share food, drinks and stories. Everyone is very welcome to join us. Parking is available outside Pembroke Lodge.
